Desciree Iyog, RMT
Desciree Iyog is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) who graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2020. She was born in the Philippines, and immigrated to Canada at a young age. She is a fun, loving, active, and friendly person. Desciree enjoys playing volleyball, dancing, going to the gym, hiking, photography, and eating really good food.
As a practitioner, Desciree is very attentive to the various types of tissues and is able to observe what areas require attention. As a deep tissue therapist, she will be able to decrease tension and trigger points within your body. Desciree is also able to utilize joint mobilizations and various other techniques like myofascial release to help increase your range of motion.
Her experiences ranges from time at the University Health Network’s Toronto Rehab as a student where she was able to help decrease the pain from patients from the Stroke and Acquired Brain Injury, and Musculoskeletal and Geriatrics units. Then began starting her career at a well established clinics in Toronto. Desciree has met many clients with a range of different needs, and has been able to create improvements in their motions, decrease restrictions, and create home-care that would aid in their individual progress.
